Dr. Boukary Ouedrago holds a master's degree in health publishing with a specialization in expertise and engineering of health information systems, and a doctorate in public health with a specialization in medical informatics/epidemiology. He serves as a permanent member of the Pierre Fabre Foundation's e-health experts committee. Dr. Boukary has supported several countries in the development of their health information systems strategic documents. Currently, Dr. Boukary serves as the Director of Health Information Systems at the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso. In this position, he ensures the strategic project management of health information systems and the deployment of digital technologies applied to health.
Representatives from the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso will discuss how they have coordinated key technical initiatives towards a common vision of a strengthened National Health Information System (NHIS).
